strengthening public education

· I will speak to school experts such as school boards, the Kansas Board of Regents, and Teacher’s Unions to hear first-hand what our education system needs in order for our children to prosper

· High Quality Education is vital for the future of our children

· Education Savings Accounts will help alleviate the financial burden of the Kansas State Legislature

· The State must adequately fund schools. In order to do this, I am calling on the State Legislature to pass a Constitutional Amendment defining education funding.

· Allow Federal Opportunity Zones as set forth by the U.S. Department of Education to assist with allowing school choice in failing districts
